The framework of a typical GibsonHouse event is:
While mingling with guests, characters (actors) engage in heated discussions, attracting attention. During the meal, clues are overheard and observed. Sometimes, written clues are distributed. Though all mystery plays are fully scripted, and carefully timed for the serving staff, ad lib interaction between actors and audience is inevitable…and then a “murder” (maybe two murders!) takes place (The actual foul deed occurs out of sight, but the victim(s) usually succumbs in full view). The Mystery Play usually consists of four scenes (Pre-Salad, Salad, Entrée, & Dessert scenes). Note: All mysteries can be adjusted to accommodate 3-course, 4-course, or Buffet type dinners. Overall, a two and a half hour event. Prior to the final scene, the characters accuse each other and guests! One of the characters claims to have solved the mystery, and then challenges the guests to do the same. Each table constitutes a team, and receives a Solution Card for completion within a certain time frame. The cards are collected and scored…and the crime solver unmasks the culprit during the final dessert scene…causing each team to be either despondent or exhilarated! Either way, we promise you that GibsonHouse is…
…committed to serving up a memorable Murder!

She had the pleasure of being a working comedian and actor, performing in films, tv shows, and gracing the same stages as the biggest names in comedy. Performing at the Comedy Store, the Improv, and Flappers, as well as Bobbie Oliver’s comedy festival, “Laugh Grrrl Riot”, among other venues, Lauren was invited to join “Stand Ups for a Cause” and also began her own comedy production company, “Dysfunctional Divas” with her favorite female comedy partner. She’s performed stand up all over the US and Canada - and will do anything for a laugh, including having a child. Lauren looks forward to bringing her brand to Southwest Florida, where people actually enjoy leaving their homes to see shows. She moved here right before Hurricane Ian, because her timing is impeccable.
